tires

lots and lots of tires :-P

lol that and definitely a t-lok to get both of those wheels spinnin, and lower control arms I would think.... T-lok will run you 200$ or so, LCA's would be 150 or so... also obviously some drag radial tires or you'll just spin into a wall. Others please feel free to add on.

ebay "2005 mustang lower control arms" they are just in the rear end on the axles to hold them to the ground and let the car squat better, controls front to backmotion.... a must have for a drag strip in my opinion.

I would recommend upgrading to a 8.8 rear. LCAs, stickier tires for the track. The best I've seen stock motor 4.0 turbo is 11.8. That is flat out flying, good luck. The PH turbo is a first rate quality kit.

lets say that one was to purchase a turbo with no intentions of going toa track. would new tires be a necessity for daily driving? or simply for track use?

you dont HAVE to. but avoid WOT in the first couple (even 3) gears if you dont have an LSD and tires.

with 255/50/17 tires and a tlok, wot in 2nd gear still spins.
