Default Leaking Reservoir?

I was reading on the Mustang Source Forums that many Mustang ownershave problems with their break fluid reservoir. Have you guys checked it lately? One guy's car was so bad it corroded the paint! I looked at mine today and noticed a little seepagethat I just wiped off. Any of you guys have problems?

I found an old thread on it;

Has anyone else experienced this? Also, did the Teflon tape trick work or was it better just to make sure the fluid isn't filled to the MAX?

I've noticed this on our '05 since new (and only put about 11K miles on her so far) - but I keep it clean under the hood so just about every car wash includes a engine compartment cleaning. I've noticed this on more than just the Ford, my BMW also has brake fluid that seems from the filler cap as does my 06 Dodge RAM. I just clean it off when I see it...

yep mine does it.....seaps around the groove where the upper part connects to lower....I dont know about the 05 and 06 but my 07 has synthetic brake fluid thus it wont peel paint like the old brake fluid will....My dealer has a new one on the way for me.
