Is this a good deal to buy!!

Ok, i pre-paid my lease for 2 years. I got the car 2 months ago. I payed 7.5k, ( 312.50 a month), and i can choose to purchase my car for 14,500, right now, and start paying on it instead of waiting till my lease is done to purchase. You guys think this is a good deal? Anyfeedback is appreciated!

by the way my carcame from the factory with:2007 V6 manual, leather, shaker 500, roush racing "fastback"body kit.

Will the purchase price still be the same if you wait? If so why would you want to start paying early? Put $312.50 a month in a mutual fund and let your money work for you for two years then pay it off in full.

no no, i payed 7.5k already, i was just saying that 7.5k is 312 a month if i had payed monthly.

i have 14,500 left to pay. and i want to start paying now so i can have it payed off earlier, lol

but is it a good deal?

How many miles are on your car? Check with www.kbb.com to see what the value is.....but it does sound OK to me considering you've already shelled out some $ for it anyway.

I got mine back in Dec. Sticker price was $22,650. but I got it for $19,000 after the $1000 rebate as well as some other incentives.

If you continue to modify your leased car, you are headed down a road you don't want to go down....
You could get the car cheaper ...$19,000 off the lot.. especially if you were able to swing a $7,500 down payment.
But now since you leased.. that's what you have to deal with.
I would just purchase it...because every car payment you make now is like pissing away money if you really intend on buying the car. Lease payments are like paying rent...
Also.. you have been asking about turbos and such.. and doing that to a leased car would be a gigantic mistake.

hold on.....won't your payments go up? or won't you end up paying more than just $14,500 after finance charges? i doubt that you will ONLY be paying the principle balance alone. that sounds like ZERO interest to me and i don't know anyone that would do that. if you do, refer them over to me!![8D] .....a refinance on my car would help me out BIG TIME.

well i dont have payments right now. I pre-payed 7.5k for the next 2 yrs, so for the next 2 yrs i have no payments, but at the end of my lease they said i could buy the car with 24k miles for 14,500. I could start paying on the 14,500 right now, since i already payed the lease off. plus i would like to go FI, which i will not do to a lease obviously. lol. so i would have a 278.56 monthly payment if i did buy it (after the lease is up). Or i could wait and see if the 2009 mustang 6er has that 3.6L DOHC with 240+ hp, and lease that. lol, all the damn decitions.

so you're saying you won't be paying any finance charges? just the striaght up principle balance? if thats true, wow, buy it. my stang was 21k msrp but after interest, finance charges and taxes, the real total, if i keep paying minimum payments, comes out to about 26k. i guess i got bamboozled yet again[&:]

i would just buy it then. you already put money into it. getting a new one won't make much diff. cars get old fast anyways......5.99%, can you refinance my car loan?:)
