What does everyone use to jack the car?

What does everyone use to jack the car?
I've just been using the ford jacking points and jacking the car up, putting jackstands there, then having floorjacks on the diff housing and right by the k-member, just for extra safety if a stand fails, but i have been told by a few people now to not put jack stands under the jacking points pointed out in the manual. Nobody can tell me why though just, "i heard not to do it." well wtf?! does anybody have any better ideas?!

If you look in the owners manual, it says not to put the jack under the differential housing. I don't know why, that's just what it says. It always seemed like that was the best place to put the jack. Maybe someone here knows why you aren't supposed to put the jack there.

This is how I do it. (From wingman75)
The red dots are where the jack stands go. The arrow is where the floor jack goes.

ford says not to jack at the diff because the stock floor jack is not very stable, and the car would be likely to fall if both the rear wheels are off the ground..
when i do anything to the car, i either use a two post lift, or a drive on alignment rack. (being a tech in a shophas it's advantages)
