Hey man, your welcome and by the way, I made a gasket/buffer between the shift handle and the shifter out of a bycicle inner tube cause some of the factory knurls sometimes rattles, just make sure it is as wide as the shifter handle and as long as the knurls, by doing the gasket and Blue Loctite.... you should have no rattle problems for sure!! OK I installed the shifter!! alone,
It was a little bit of a pain to install for instance, the stock shifter would NOT come out as it said through the hole inside the car. I had to persuade it a little with a screwdriver and kinda pry it out slightly.
You defiantly need to lift the front of the car to get under it to loosen the 4 nuts that hold the shifter and linkage.And to tighten the new shifter.
I test drove the car and at first I heard a little rattle sound coming from what seemed to be under the dash but it mostly went away by the end of the drive. Maybe needed to settle.
Other than that my thoughts are. I like te shorter shift throw. but it seems a bit stiff getting the gears in. I don't mind it now but I can't see how you can shift fast at the track.
