rmays, there is only leaning out if the car is not tuned. People always say that it is because the larger tube, but I dont believe it because I know that the Steeda intake uses the stock tube and requires a tune (I have tried w/o a tune, it doesnt work). Also, because the stock tube is the same diameter as the TB, there shouldnt be much gain. The air will most likely just bottleneck. There might be a slight difference because the stock tube has a lot of ridges, but it will only be at the level of 1-3rwhp.
sancho, that guy is having a totally different issue. there is either something wrong with his ECU, his MAF sensor, or his filter is too dirty or too oiled.
