Great news, good day at the show!
Hey guys, we all know that the S197 is a special car, with tons of potential and great styling. Between the V6 and GT guys aroundhere there is an aweful lot of bashing both ways. Well preceptions are changing over time and well a Mustang is a Mustang. I don't want this to turn into a war its just a proud moment and a pep talk for V6 owners.
There was a huge show in the Detroit area for the local Mustang club, over 350 cars (I've put the link for the pictures below) and just some of the most amazing cars I've ever seen. It was a Ford show but most cars were Mustangs. The show was a judged show and the members were judged seperatly so there wouldn't be the politics that come with shows. The judges were national level judges.
In my class 2005+ modded there were probably 15 cars... not sure about the total but it was a big number. The class winner was 1badd05 which is just a sweet car!!!! I am proud to be honored in the same breath as him and some of the other cars that were there. Needless to say I was shocked when I was called for runner up in the class.......I almost ****!
I was humbled and honored and very happy to take home an awardfrom this great event. I just wanted to pass this along to us 4.0 guys who think becauseyou have less pistons you can't compete, you can, don't let envy spoil you enjoyment of a great car.

Thanks for the link to the pics in case some of the 4.0L members didn't see it in the main S197 section.
