Do you mean like this:

I was going to do that to my car but my wife was afraid it would lower the value of the should I want to sell it. So, we went with this instead:

We think it looks good.

Well the first pic is not a stock hood, but I guess it gives you some idea. I bet you can upload a pic and ask someone to photoshop it for you, then you will know how it will look on your car.

The stripes are vinyl. I bought them on e-bay from baltimore streen mods for $65 plus $5 shipping. My wife and I installed them in about an hour. We think they came out good.

I had a 2005 Mineral Grey Mustang coupe that I traded for a Tungsten Grey 2006 V6 coupe. The dealer made me such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. The 2006 has the Pony package, Interior Upgrade, TC & ABS. I also wanted the Bullit wheels and the fog lights in the grill.

TC & ABS are overrated.
Those hood "decals" look good.
How did this not degrade the value
like the hood being painted black
between the body lines? Removable
decals? Dont drive it becausethat would
degrade the resalevalue also.

Ever think of why you cant find them anymore?
I guess you could call it a one of a kind.
Ford called it a no-seller color. Thats why
you cant find them. I am glad someone likes
the color so Ford didnt have to eat the mistake.

i don't really think about those kind of things; however, i know that i do love the color out of any color ford offers for the mustang, except for maybe that awesome
