Default Got a good one for you gear heads

So when ford releases their new Boss engine, how much work would it be to drop it into our V6
Might have some major funds coming in soon and was think of maybe looking into that

Off the top of my head....Engine, mounts, computer and wiring, stronger trans and torque converter(auto might hold), 8.8 rear because the 7.5 will probably let go, suspention to compensate for the extra weight, ummmm a lot of little stuff....

Any engine swap this drastic will need a lot of time, work, and money....Its just better to start with the bigger and better car then to make it from scratch, unless thats the challenge your looking for. People have done things like this before so it is very possible.

I personally think there is more value going FI with the 4.0 then going the rout your considering.

Aluminum Driveshaft $4-600

Wiring Harness?
Computer?
Transmission? t56 maybe
Motor from ford?
Aftermarket Mounts

is the boss even a full motor? i was under the impression that it was just a block? i may be wrong [:-]
