did some search but wanted some fresh input. I'm just wondering if I installed this stuff & then had a breakdown on the road somewhere would I possibly be screwed? I mean could a dealer use it as an excuse not to fix the car under warranty?

Well it is my understanding that if you had installed a CAI/tune, it wont "void your warranty" per say.The only problems that I could see you having with ford would be if they could prove that your breakdown was directly linked to aftermarket parts that you installed like a CAI. So i would say you would be in the clear unless you have engine prob. Its also my understanding that the stealership cannot tell you have tuned, only that the computer has been reset, and guess what, taking loose a battery cable will do the same thing.

the intake itself wont void the total warranty unless they can prove your intake did something.. i would believe that the tuner WILL void the warrenty cause you are messing with the "brain" of the car. If theycanprove that you reflashedand not reset the ECU they you might be in trouble.
