Default Do we have neutral safety switch?

I have an 05 auto id like to take to the track tonite, but you need a neutral safety switch to compete and if I try pushing it out of gear into neutral it wont go, whereas most vehicles let you do that. Is there anything im missing, id like to run tonight and if they are nit-picky about that, i probly wouldnt be able to.

Neutral safety switch means an Automatic car can only start when in Park or Neutral.
