RE: Satin Silver or Black stripes on a Tungsten Pony?
Theresa, Hello! I had some marks on mine from washing the car in the sun! Not good! I also never take it to a brush car wash, If I don't wash it by hand, I go to touchless. Less chances of scratches all the way around, but being vinyl, this will happen unless you have new ones clear coated or painted and clear coated. When mine get the funky look, I used ARMOR ALL for vinyl interior. Makes them shiny like my hiny, I can't say how long it lasts because I don't drive the car in the rain, or winter but so far so good, they almost look like the day I got them, first wash the car and dry it, then spray a microfiber cloth with it and wipe the stripes to get the shine and use another one to buff lightly. Clean up any excess and you are good to go. My 2 C.

I did 2 12' wide on the hood only with a 1" gap and parnelli jones style side stripes custom cut to tie into the front hood stripes.I think with the black spoiler,as mine is too,i would stick with black.

Alright, everyone. Black it is! It was tough, but I like keeping in the retro theme of my car. And with its current setup, I think black will work best as well as with the things I want to do with it in the future. Thanks for all the opininons and suggestions. I appreciate them. =)

Thanks. They're going to be quite basic... two ten and a quarter inch stripes with an inch and a half gap from the rear of the decklid to the end of the hood. I'm getting them done on Saturday morning. I so cannot wait!
