Default New owner and New to the Forums

Welcome all, I have just purchased a 07 Vista Blue Mustang V6 this week. I have been reading up on this forum and have learned alot so far. My first two mods are going to be GT takeoffs: muffler and spoiler. I hear the muffle is easy to install, but I have not found any information on how to install a spoiler. Can I do this job myself, any tips, or do I need to take it into the dealer. Thanks for the help.

First, welcome to MustangForums. Congrats on your new purchase - post some pics when you can.

About adding arear spoiler, you might be better off finding another Vista Blue member who wants to get rid of their spoiler (spoiler deletes are popular). You guys could swap decklids, but remember to switch the locks back to the original cars. I've also read that the support pistons for the decklids are different (non-spoiler vs spolier decklids) to accound for the heavier weight (but that is not confirmed)

Welcome. Congrats on the mustang. Yea the GT takem off is easy to install, just make sure you fit the muffler all the way on. I have no experience replacing the spoiler, but from what I have looked at, it doesn't look all that hard.

Welcome to the forums.....Got to love the Vista Blue! Like one poster said above, check on the forums for spoilers for sale. You see them pop up all the time.
I love the dual GT mufflers I had installed.....nice look as well as a little more growl. Post some pictures when you can.

Take a look at the ducktail spoilers. Those look much better then the regularones in my opinon, and it gives it that old school look too. Oh and welcome and congrats on the new ride!!
