That is somewhat true. There are two thing about that.

1) If you are running on the street, you are not going to want to go into boost. Boosting is what hurts the engine.

2) The X may make all its power at 2k RPM, but a higher HP system may make the same amount of power at 2k RPM, and make even more at 3k RPM.

with my turbo setup, i think the only rpm range an x outperforms mine is like 1800-2500. after that im passing it pretty easily.
