for those of you with Bamma tunes, which of the three (91 Race, 91 Torq, 87 Perf) would get the best milage? I'm traveling six hours north to Oakland this weekend to watch my beloved Raiders play their season opener and want to be as fuel effecient as i can. Any suggestions?

just stay at the limit and you should be fine. I doubt there will be much difference between 60-70 with the tunes.

Yea, just keep it constant. Use speed control. For longer trips, i tend to use the 87 perf...

lol jk. keep itat or under2k rpm and you will get pretty damn good mileage.

hahahaha, nice murdoc.......since you guys think there isn't much diff., i guess i will swap my 91 tune for the 87 perf since its less money at the pump. thanks for the feedback.

Actually.. I should have mentioned that.. I would go for a lower octane tune just in case you have to get gas in an area with crappy gas or one that only has the lower octanes. I run 93 octane.. but would likely change to 87 if I was traveling just for that reason.. that or bring some octane boost with me.

Yeah the 87 tune would probably be the best. Also, check your tire pressure and leave in plenty of time so, that you are able to drive it easy. Like mentioned CC, helps, but dont use if you are going up and down hills where the trans downshifts.( usually you can avoid the down shift if you are control the speed with thepedal)Keep the cruise on 60-65, and you should be good.
