Default New manual shifter for V6 from MGW LTD

I saw several posts in the forums about how good the MGW shifter was.
I decided that was the one I wanted for my V6 stang. However, they only had a V8 shifter on their web site. I sent them an e-mail asking if the V8 shifter would work on the V6. They responded back that the V8 shifter would not work. But, they are coming out with a shifter for the V6 at the end of this month.
I though I would post this for those of you who are looking for a shifer and did not want to go with the Hurst.

Wonder if that would get rid of the clunky sounding shifts...

Would installing an aluminum driveshaft get rid of the clunkiness?

I am not sure if an Aluminum Drive shaft will get rid of the clunkiness. I have read in the forums that it does help.
Anyway, An aluminum drive shaft will be the next mod for me after the shifter.

Hey nonstopred,
I like your grill. Where did you get it?
Also, did adding the GT front sway bars improve handling much?

Thanks

I don't believe the shifter will help with the "clunky" / notchy feeling. If you look at th eexisting one you can see the shifter is really pretty simple.

I think your right. I was thinking my T-5 was smoother because I've put a few miles on her, but I did install that brace a while back. Maybe that is what smoothed things out.
