ORIGINAL: illegalstealth

its really cheap. We have a plan for old collectible cars and expensive car insurance. I believe it is only 200 a year per collectible and the ford gt is only 1000. I know we use hagerty, but we also use allstates policies. The most expensive insurance is on the v6 believe it or not 2,900 a year >< .

My dad hasbeen working since he was 13, so he has a different outlook on "spoiled". If I didn't get over a 95 average in highschool he would have bought me a 2000 jeep laredo for 10 grand. My brother on the other hand has an 80 average and could care less about going to college, so my dad keeps telling him" If you don't do well in your next few years, I am going to buy you a nice 4 speed mountain bike what color do you want"?

My dad grew up without any money, his parents didn't give him anything. They gave his wto brothers money for college and he never got a dime. He never went to college and he grew up on his own. My mom also lived in the original projects of the bronx, she had no money, so I guess my dad wants to help me in life, because he wasn't helped. : /
Awesome.

That is a cool dad! My parents paid for our college because they never got a chance to go, not complaining I love them for that.

What a sweet thing to think about. My dad runs his own restoration shop. I always want to find the perfect classic for him. But he found it for him self. He building 69 Camero and putting a big block in it. I just can’t wait for the car shows with it.

He just like driving out west and looking at all the old cars in people yards, it so sad that to see them all over grown with grass. We try to go out west twice a year to do a pick up of cars. I will try to get him to go there. He is not one for flying, we drive straight there 27 hours one way. But we can catch up on things.
