I recently had 3 ribs removed so that reaching back to get my seatbelt wasn't a physical hazard. It's one mod I highly recommend. (Mine is magnetic (05) and useless so I never use it)

Mine is an '07 and it has an oh SNAP!

So I unsnapped it, slid it in, snapped it back up. OMG what a difference. Jeebus, I love you peeps for informing the ignorant public such as myself about this miraculous invention. Too bad it isn't on the passenger side

"Too Funny," as someone said. I didn't even know there was something to hold the belt so you didn't have to reach waaaay back to grab it. I guess I needed to read the manual. I will check this morning when I go out if there is a snap do hicky on the drivers seat and passenger, for that manner. Too funny. Guess that is why we have these forums! Learn something every day!

2006 mustang owner. Mine Snaps into place. When I bought the car, the dealer was using this strap to hang my spare car remote controlls and additional keys. He unsnapped it...took off the keys.....and I spent a month throwing my shoulder out of socket to reach my seatbelt. I detailed car after 30 days.....and re-discovered this straps original purpose. A crappy plastic molded hangar on the seat would solve this problem. Un-sightly......but functional....works at times for me. Even when using the bottom-of-seat-strap.....you have to loop the seat belt strap over the top of your seet to keep it easily accesible. Poor design on Fords part.

Side Note....does EVERYONE have to have their additional remotes programmed by FORD after they get their car?

WOW ok that thing pops off everyday for me, i just brush it aside and forget about it lol, not something thats going to bother me all day. I'd say ford should be able to help if its that much of an issue. i use my right hand to reach back and grab the seatbelt and i have a vert. not sure if that makes a difference, but i have no real concern for it being retarded.

No, read your owners manual for end userremote and key programming.
