No minds does nothing at all, no light turn on. I took it in to the shop today, to see what going on. when driver door is open, does not emitt a beep to let you know headlights or keys, or still left on, or in the ignition. does not shut off radio when driver door is open, alarm is not working at all, when door is open. driver window wont drop and half inch when open or close, try to reset it but nothing happen. now they trying to tell me it may not be cover under warranty....because i am the 2nd owner....only 17,000 miles on it. 2006 V6, nothing done as of yet to it.
Take it to another dealer. No matter how many owners have bought the car, as long as it's under 36,000 miles or 3 years you are covered.

Oh...OK....I see you have it all taken care of.
It does erk me when some dealers try to pull that crap on decent folks.
Glad to see you have the problem solved.

I am curious about the alarm entry system. I seen someone use ther remote to enter their mustang. whenhe hitthe unlocked button, the headlights came on, Is this something that, all of them do, or something after market. I am taking minds in for a few minor things, and I think this is one of them. any help is appreciated...thanks to fellow mustang owners
Yeah, my head lights come on too when I press the lock button on the remote. If you press it again, you will hear your car horn beep and it will trigger the motion sensor inside the car.

I am curious about the alarm entry system. I have seen a few other S197's in my neighborhood and am wondering how good is their alarm system? Is it easy to turn off w/o a remote? I saw in Gone in 60 Seconds, all u have to do is cut the little horn wire under the hood to turn off an alarm. I'm interested in trying this and becoming a 4.0 owner like u guys! Any suggestion on what to clip the alarmhorn wire with?
What?
The electrical diagram shows the alarm horn(s) to be in the rear fender well
area and not the same horns as are hooked up to the horn button.

I have added horns for that "hey I am here, dont change lanes" blast.
