Default gt exhuast on v6

can i use a gt h pipe on my v6? would i need to get the h pipe before or after the cats? i plan on getting longtube headers too, would that affect my decision on getting a gt h pipe?
Thanks!

1.-yes you can use a h or x pipe on a v6, depends on your ear for the sound you want
2.- after the cats if you are in ca, ny, mass where emission are enforced

well it doesnt matter where the h is, just as long as you have cats (I believe)
anyway, there is no way to have cats after the h.

by "after the cats" i mean getting an h pipe to put on after my cats. and by "before the cats" i mean getting an h pipe that includes cats with it.

one more question, is there much of a difference in sound if i get a gt h pipe compared to if i get something aftermarket, like a mac h pipe?
