I bought a Magellan Maestro 3100 from Radio Shack for believe $180 on sale. It's touch screen with voice as well, also has a slot for an SD card (haven't read the directions so no idea what's going on with that, lol). It's been an awesome unit!
I have the Magellan 3100 also and it works well but I have never used another one so I can't compare. A GPS is one of those things that you think you don't need until you get one then wonder how you lived before you got it. We travel to a lot of unfamiliar cities to see Bob Dylan perform and the GPS is great for getting around. Coming out of a concert at 11:00 at night and trying to find your way back to the hotel is rough sometimes. The GPS takes you straight there without any wrong turns.

I went with a Garmin Nuvi 250W. It is a 4.3" touch screen/widescreen display. Right now it's on sale through Costco Online for $299.99.

Crap! I forgot all about Black Friday!!! I wished I had read this thread earlier! [:@]

I use the Sprint Navigation on my phone. Which ever one you get make sure it has a 3D map option. I'm pretty that the one I have is designed for men... She's always telling me where turn after I've already passedthe street and then gets annoyed with me when I don't follow her directions...
