where to cut??

Default where to cut??

i plan on getting the dual exhaust system from ford racing within the next week or so and i dont really have a local muffler shop so i was considering doing it myself but im not sure where i have to cut and what not. if someone who has duals could help me out with this one. maybe some pictures?

there was a template that was printable floating around the forum. not sure who supplied it but it seemed pretty accurate. i myself measured the side edge of the bumper to the factory cutout and measured the width of the cutout and just repeated that on the driver side. this template that now exists wasnt around when i cut mine and i think it still came out damn good. muffler shop said it looked factory. the bumper cuts fairly easy with a razor sharp utility knife which is what i used.

i was actually talking about where i have to cut as far as the y pipe that is on there goes, in order to get the x pipe on.

looking at mine the muffler shop cut the drivers side pipe right before the bend so that they were both the same shape then extended the pipe to meat in the crossover.
