Jay, for $500 bucks you can go on RPM's site and get a C&L CAI and an XCal2 tuner for the same price. Far better offering than what Ford's put on the table. It looks like you haven't made many mods yet, and if your goal is not to do too many mods to your car, for the bucks invested and good returns, go with a good tune from a good vendor (which means buying a tuner like the XCal2 or Predator loaded with tunestailored for your car) and install a set of 3.73 or 4.10 gears and T-Lok in your rearend. These mods will make a huge difference in how your car runs. Good luck, Jack

i think its 10 rwhp....without a tune, the k&ns get like 8, so yeh i think thats reasonable. Also you get the fact that its warranted and not gonna b yelled at for bringing ur car to the dealership with antoher intake

i dont know much about hp or bhp but that doesnt sound like a very good deal to me...i wouldnt do it. but thats just my opinion.

in this catalog it says there is a 10-15 hp gain, and I'm pretty sure thats at the rear wheels, and I figure it may be a auto to manual increase in hp gained due to the lower initial rwhp from the auto.


theres also some other interesting stuff in there....like that ponyless eggcrate grille for the gt bumper

in idiot terms RWHP (rear wheel horse power) is the amount of horsepower being applied to the rear wheels, and its the actual amount of horsepower your car is making. BHP (brake horsepower) is the amount of horsepower your engine is making before it reaches the rear wheels. The stock V6 has 210 BHP, which means the actual horsepower (rwhp) is around 170 hp.

bhp doesnt mean shyt when it comes to mods, people dont care how much bhp you have, all that matters is the amount of rwhp.

for only 10 rwhp thats not worth it. i rather get the TI intake tuner combo and make closer to 20 rwhp
