RE: how to take off plenum cover
Yea I know they make aftermarket ones, but I thought you were refering to factory. Kind like you were thinking something else was the plenum cover Kinda threw us off.
Don't they just snap on?

Reach under it in three places and release the clips.
Then throw it in the trash. Its a heat keeper and does
not allow the plenium to cool properly. It effects performance
more than it enhances the looks. A plexiglass hood would
be needed to be able to see it unless aided by the owner.

No, I can agree with that. I think he's just saying if it holds the engines heat more, then it will hurt the engine due to more heat than it can take, thus decreasing ur engines life. I am not sure if that's true since I no nothing about plenums covers, but if that's true than I would advise people not to buy them.

Wow. 157db, did you get up on the wrong side of the bed? Not all V6 mustang owners are after performace considering we bought V6's.
