I contacted Ford Direct Parts and got a part number as well as price;

The part number is 4R3Z-5A231-AA and cost is 20.29 plus 10.95 shipping.
Try contacting your parts department at the local dealership. If you order parts from them, you don't have to pay for shipping.
Yep, that was my next step.....to compare the two prices.

muffler shop tack welded my setup after installing the clamps that came with my kit. Looks to be holding up A-OK. you shouldnt have any problems now that your pipes have been tack welded.......i think.

Did you get the clamp from Pypes Performance? I'm telling you that clamp is not made very well. The way the pipes slipin is questionable as well as how thin the whole piece is. I definitely recommend using a Ford clamp to be on the safe side.

Yea the Ford clamp looks like it "clamps" it down, the pypes clamp looks like it can be stretched out as you tighten it down.

The Pypes clampis taperedon the inside that will not allow you to set it right like the Ford clamp.

Well, this thread alone makes up my mind on just getting my parts from the ford parts department. Just sucks that it will cost me $120 bucks in clamps/hangers alone! But at least it will be factory.

Now Pypes Performance do make darn good pipe kits.....it's just that the clamp I found to be inadequate.

And you didn't have any problems with the bend of the midpipes?
