actually the 08 start at 19,250 msrp... at least thats what it says on ford's website.A new one with the sameoptions will probally run for around 21-23k but if a dealer has it it will probally list for 24-25k. But hey that's here in GA and it might be different incali.i paid 20k for mine just a deluxe with sport apperancepackor something. It listed for 23k!!hope this helps in your decision. btw i've never heard of a ca edition on v6 but i know they do make them for the gts....

Michael & Gretchen,

I really like the car, and can tell that you both took excellent care of the car. However the asking price seems a little too steep. Givin the few blemishes in the exterior and it being used. I did a KBB myself and the blue book for a "private seller" in the "good" range is 17k. Thats with the information provided to me. I know that it is a CA edition car; the only differences I am aware of is the different decals and badges that the dealer added. I've done some research and have asked those who have bought essentially the same car, and they have all told me pretty much the same thing... "Look around, asking price is too high, and you could buy a new one for about that much" It's understandable to sit on it and wait, especially if you're not in a rush. I am in the same boat sellingmy Mustang that I currently have!My offerto youwould be 16k.Let me know your response. Thanks again!

Marcus

That was to the sellers ^^^^

I wrote them with my offer... I should here from them tonight. They seem awfully poud of their car being a CA edition,so mosy likely they will reject, or give me a counter offer. Even if they say yes I am still debating and will be looking around some more!

I dont get what the CA edition is, its gotta be some dealer thing that they marked up the original sale with. (poor people )

it's basically (I BELIEVE) a different bumper and decklid badge and a plaque on the dash. I think that's about it. Not a big deal, but someone might care. Kinda like the Stampede edition that they sell in Texas/Oklahoma that nobody knows about. Just kind of a gimmick that throws cosmetic mods in there to convince someone it's a big deal. If it means nothing to you, I wouldn't bother with it, but that's just me. But it's done by Ford, not the dealerships

The seller is asking too much for that car with that many miles on it with blemishes. Heck, I paid $19K for mine right off the car carrier from Ford, fully loaded '07 Pony Package.

upon further reading, it has a "CE" badge on the gas cap, 9" silver stripes, added sway bar, chrome exhaust and upgraded rims. It was evidently only sold in San Diego, 400 made. Sounds kinda cool. Other than that, standard pony package. I'd say all of that adds some value to a standard 4.0
