Oh must have missed it. There is a company called Zabteck Performance who makes TBs for our engines. Their piece is very new, but the cool part about them is that they use the factory electronics, so you dont have to worry about all the crap that comes along with aftermarket TBs. The test unit showed 7rwhp on an Xcharged car, and the unit they have for sale now flows something like 20cfm's more than the test unit. Also, there was with no tune and apparently leaned the car out a little, so with it tuned, it could have probably made ~11rwhp. So with a tune, plus the 20cfm's more than the tester, I bet an F/I car could see a pretty significant gain. I am not sure how well it would perform over the stock TB on a N/A car, could be worth a few ponies.
I wouldn't waste money on a TB if it only made 7 whp more on a xcharged car it probably won't make anything on a N/A car. The stock TB will flow plenty, and w/o heads/cams he doesn't need a bigger tb, just my opinion though.
you are probably correct

Good Ideas so far, but probably not worth it. Any thing else? I can't think of any performance bolt-ons, maybe suspension and weight reduction stuff, but I don't know that much about though's things.

If you have a grand to spend, go with a higher torque converter 2700-3200. The higher TQ converter with get you off the line faster ( for auto tranny's). Check with Dan at Realspeed, he's out on the island. #1-631-563-7325 Or Call ProTorque #1-631-218-8700 Denny

Yeah, no grand to spend so that's out of the ?. I pretty much am looking to do some stuff over next summer when I'll have a few hundread dollars and wondered what I could do. Like I said, ti cai/bama tune on the way, probably udp's in the spring w/a little weight reduction, and after that I'm out of things to do. Thanx for the help anyway!

throttle body, and throttle body spacer (useless though.....some claim, I've yet to see any dyno's)

UDPS like you said, high flow cats, race tune (probably not good for a daily driver though) JBA 9mm wires give about 5 hp for only 60 bucks.

That's an idea I didn't think of. JBA 9mm wires! Good idea. Race tune is coming(I don't care if it's my DD). Have a tbs(sadly the guy who had the car before me did it). TB is toomuch for so little(might be worth nothing). Hi-flow cats r an idea too. Does anybody knowhp gains of hi-flow cats over stock ones? guess's? Thanx ahead of time!

strut tower brace, anti-roll bars. panhard bars, and thats about all you can do

why not save the money for that stuff, save some more up and buy a ZEX Nitrous kit, like 75 shot, if your worried about track times, plus looks real nice in the car.

if you dont go to the track I suggest not worrying about weight reduction, because the 50 lbs. you take off really arent going to change the way the car feels on the street, and will make the interior look like shyt if you start ripping parts out. If you have a manual tranny, get a short throw shifter (I really like the hurst).

http://www.americanmuscle.com/niexfoefikin.html

check this out, 75 shot NOS for $580, and since you belong to listangs you get another 5% off, so about $550 altogether, plus it comes with a CAI. You would just need a tune for it.

so really instead of buying the TI CAI (I dont know the price but lets say $250 plus the race tune $75) this whole kit would only run you an extra $225 and now you will have some real nice track times.
