Lets just say this...
when I had my drop-in K&N filter I got +1mpg and really didn't notice any change in performance..
when I replaced the drop-in filter with the K&N CAI, I noticed that there was a substantial decrease in throttle lag...
when I added a tune to the CAI I noticed that there was hardly any throttle lag at all, and there was a significant increase in power...
