Default Brakes and springs question

Hey guys...........there is a guy that wants to sell me some GT 500 rotors and brake pads (al 4) and springs.....are the GT 500 brakes really that much better than the our stock brakes and will they fit fine? Oh yea........he said the GT 500 springs would lower my car about 1 inch.......is this true...........let me know because his asking price is pretty low......thanks guys!

I dont think the GT500 rotors are the same size as the GT. If he's giving you the calipers also it would work.

you would need 18+ inch rims, and even so, the rims would have to be special cuz not all 18s fit the big brake kits.

thanks alot you guys.............so they wont work? are the rotors that much bigger than our stock brakes?
what about the springs? can anyone else chime in?

So would the GT 500 springs lower the my car one inch? Can someone verify that i cant use these on my car? i just want to be exactley sure before i buy these........thanks!

none of it will work. the rotors are too big, and the pads wont fit at all. you would need 18" rims and the brembo calipers. the GT500 is much heavier in the front end than the v6, so it will actually raise your car by about an inch in the front.

Also you will need the front caliperbrackets and if you have ABS its more difficult.
Low prices dont always mean a good deal.
