RE: Rattles ???
I notice a few of you have rattles with dual, or aftermarket exhuast. I have had this problems too.
The fix is to tighten up your mufflers. Whoever installed it may have needed to make custom brackets, and of course would need to do so (if you have duals), since our cars have a factory single exhaust. So whenever this happens (esp. on new exhuast) just get dirty and tighten those mufflers. It only takes a socket wrench, and some muscle.
Good Luck

Oh....and while I'm at
it, might as well ask....I switched out my rims for the 08
pony rims. Everytime I start the car, the tire low warning
is coming on. Checked all tires and they are not low.
Do I have to get something reset at the dealer? The new
rims do have the sensor things on them. Help ! lol

TPMS sensors from your OEM rimsor 4 new to your car sensors
that were already in the pony rims? The TPMS sensors are all
different to the SJB andneed to be dealer programmed to your
Smart Junction Box according to the workshop manual. Whomever
did your "swap" of the tires rims did not cover all the bases and I
would hold them accountable for the Stealership TPMS reprogramming
charge.[:@]

Who did the switching of the rims? Did you use your original

As I was saying the dealership was looking at the car yesterday. They INSISTED that the
back rattle was the passenger side louver. I told them that I took that off yesterday to make sure
that wasn't it. The made my husband come and take them off, and take the machanic for a test
drive. He did. It wasn't the louvers. They found an exhaust hanger that was there not being
used. ( I switched to gt take-off ). Ok. No more rattle from the back.
When they were reprogramming they said one of the sensors were bad.
He reprogrammed the three other ones. ($45.00 )
He said it might of been damaged when Belle
put the tire on. The rattle in the inside door handles he said he can't repair. I will deal with
that later. Was Belle suppose to reprogram them? I guess I am going to take it to the tire shop
this weekend and have them take the tire off and have them look at it.

RE: Rattles ???
Rattles. I've got rattles. Wasn't so bad at first, but I bet my magnaflows have contributed to loosening things up a bit. First I had a rattle in the trunk, now I have one in each door and my parking permits.

RE: Rattles ???
I've figured out that one of the worst rattles I have is my stock spoiler.
It's already loose and has worn a spot away on the paint (a problem that has been addressed by a TSB) but now the dual exhaust is really vibrating the $hit out of it.
I gotta get that fixed ASAP but was hoping to get my Roush spoiler, louvers and hood scoop all at once before I did.
Somebody please get me $1000 now!!

I can't stand rattles either and they are the most annoying thing to get fixed too. I've owned my '07 for about 3 months now and the driver side speaker/door just started a rattle.Seems to only happen when I turn up my radio and with this Shaker 500 why wouldn't I want to turn up the radio???? I hate rattles!!

1. Right behind the handle on your door (not the lever that opens it, but the big handle below that) stick your hand in there like you are going to open it, then extend your fingers straight out and you will be touching the plastic piece that is an instert right there. That is NOT glued into place, it is just clipped in and when it starts to loosen up, it rattles like crazy. Mine happened on both sides of the door.
2. The other is the same type of little plastic insert right behind the LEVER that opens your door.
both of these can be easily fixed by your dealer, just point them out. If you can't figure out what i am talking about, just look at your door and find the two or three plastic inserts that are seperate from the rest of the door and look like they could be popped out. When you hear the rattles, just push on them one at a time to see which one it is, the rattle will stop when you push on the right one. Another rattle i noticed is when you have change in your cupholder. It sounds like it is coming from behind the dash, but it could just be your change, so you might as well try taking that out if you have any in there. I've learned to live with it as i only hear it at real low rpm's anyway...the mrt drowns everything else out! LOL!
