SCT tuner and Bama?

RE: SCT tuner and Bama?
I think the xcal2 box actually holds all 4 tunes????
You will download your b a ma tune into the cars computer and upload the stock tune into the xcal2.
Right now I'm running the ba m a 87 performance. If I plug the tuner in, it will ask if I want to return to stock or install a different tune. I'm going out on a limb here, but I think all 4 tunes are in the sct box.

RE: SCT tuner and Bama?
Hey Steelstang, I have an SCT originally ordered from VMP, full of 3 VMP tunes.
I ordered 1 tune from Bama, and uploaded it no problem with LiveLoad. It DID erase the tune in the slot that I chose, but it was the 89 perf tune, which didn't do much.
I uploaded the tune to the SCT, and then walked to over to Stabby and plugged her right in and uploaded it to the computer. I didn't return the computer to stock tune before uploading the Bama tune.No problems encountered at all, and I love the Bama 91 torque tune!
One thing I do recommend though is uploading the tune to the car, driving it forabout 5-10 miles, then re-uploading the same tune. For some reason the second time i upload a tune, the response is great.
Here is a thread on how to load a new tune into the Xcal2, using LiveLoad (which VMP included with my order when I got the SCT and CA)
