+1 to 07PonyVert! I have an 07 stang and my dad has a '76 vette. (not quite as powerful as your '71 (maybe?) with the 454) but they look sick sitting next to eachother nonetheless.
Thanks 07lane40! She's actually a 1972 LT-1 350 - the last of the small block performers and a blast to drive! Sadly, she'sfor sale though if you're interested in having your own Vette . A two seater is just too impractical for a family of four and the Stang is getting so much use, it hurts me to just see the Vette sit there in the garage. Time to go to a home where she'll be driven like she should be.

Had a great one a few weeks ago in our 06 convertible.

We have custom plates that read "R1DMYPNY"
My fiance and I were stopped at a light and a car pulled up along the driver side of us.
Two girls in their early 20's holding up a little sign written in sharpie..
It said "Can I ride your pony?"
I laughed hysterically, leaned back and let my fiance take a look.
She laughed hysterically and said "Only in your car" LOL

About 20 minutes before that we were driving next to an original 1920's ford with a family in it.
It is sputtering along, looking really cool. We pulled up next to it at a light and the father says "Wanna race?"
hehehehe. We complimented each other on the car and continued driving.

This car definitely attracts a lot of attention. All of it so far has been extremely positive, V6 or not.
We're loving it.
I have a couple of t-shirts from Kohl's (a department store) that say "Ride The Pony" above the running pony logo. Cheap quality shirts but you gotta love the saying!
