I got the duplicolor kit in red. It brushes on. Took me about 4 hours. The main thing that I spent time on was masking, because I wanted it to come out perfect, and not have any stray paint anywhere that it shouldnt be. Then I had to clean, and then I did 2-3 coats. let dry over night. Still holding up pretty well
also, get the stickers from www.xenonmods.com

Painted mine over the weekend using the GS2 paint (got it on ebay). It's VERY easy. Brush it on, let it sit, brush on another coat, let it sit overnight. The paint when dry has a rubber like feel to it. Temp rated to 950 degrees. I like the way it looks.

To be honest it didn't get to bad at all. I wish I had a good pic for you mainly it look like an off white unless I just washed it. I like the attention it got so in the long run it was worth it.

Ensure you have everything you need and time, to do all 4. So that once you start, you can finish. Also, recommend not drive the stang within 24 hrs from painting it...

Here's mine with Acrylic Enamel.
Dupont Centari, to be exact. Single stage stuff (with activator of course).

I've been doing calipers for years this way and it's a good old trick that works. Good Enamels can withstand a lot of heat.
I don't disconnect any lines, just mask real good (I cover the whole car to prevent overspray)and shoot atlow pressure.
