Default Dash noise or rattle

I have an 07 mustang v6 and I keep hearing a wierd noise almost like a very lowcrackling sound behind the dash. It's there the whole time the car is on. The car is fine but I'm wondering what the hell it is. Can some one help me out on this one? Thanks.

Check the two exhaust pipe brackets on the transmission cross member. My 05 had a terrible creak and this was it. Sounds just like in the dash. There is a service bulletin on this.

yup...i know that rattle also. when i put pressure on the door panel with my arm, it goes away. this tells me that its something right behind the soft vinyl panel above the window switches. i dont plan on taking anything apart so i'm just dealing with it for now.

as for the dash rattle, i've take my stang in to the dealership and let them know about this issue. they apparently removed my whole dash and didn't find anything loose. i'm guessing its the exhaust piping somewhere near the cats just like the service bulletin states.

The door panels come off real easy. It's just a few screws and the panel lifts off. Then you can dynamat the inside of the panel. It'll cost like $70 for a big roll, and you'll have planty left over to do the trunk of line the wheel wells or whatever. I'll tell you, if there's one thing I really hate, it's rattles. I still get that one under the front dash, but there's nothing I can really do about that one.
