As far as precautions go ... I installed a boost/vacuum gauge and a Wideband A/F gauge so I can always see what's going on in the engine. Boost is only engaged at moderate to heavy acceleration .... You can cruise down the highway doing 70 and the boost is not engaged. You can also lightfoot it around town and not engage the boost.
