HELP!! My 06 V6 Auto won't start!
My 06 V6 Auto won't start! It was really cold last night and today an i haen't driven it in about a week, but it was never outside. I had parked it head first into the garage and it won't start! It's clear the battery died, bcause everything's off. We tried to put it into neutral and push it out but the shifter won't budge. It's an Automatic. Any ideas? Right now I wanna figure out a way to set it into neutral so I can push it out. Please help!

Nah, I figured it out. In case anyone is curious, to the right of the shifter on the silver part is what looks like a removable small cover. I used a small flat head to pop it off and then pushed the button down. This alowed me to move it into neutral. And yeah, the battery died somehow.

Anyway, that's similar to what happened to my auto a few months ago. Thing completely died on me. I'd gotten a 'Check Charging System' message shortly before everything gradually started shutting down as I was driving it; from stereo, to power windows, to turn signals, to turning the car on. I had it towed in to the dealership immediately. It turned out to be the alternator. I don't know the specifics, but apparently they had to replace it in addition to a belt.
You should probably call roadside assistance to get it towed in. It won't be a pretty sight seeing your car up on that tow trailer, but if it's completely dead the dealership is probably going to need to look at it.

My battery died one time due to the Shaker 500 not shutting down fully. My S197 is my fun car so there was nearly a week (due to bad weather) between drives. By all means have the dealer take a look but it could be that simple.
