Dropping in the 5.4?

RE: Dropping in the 5.4?
Thanks. It's bitter sweet, as I wanted to rebuild the 4.0 again and see if I can get single digits. But the wife sort of laid down the law, said the next motor has to last at least 2-3 track seasons so no more R&D for me. I just got the 5.4 3v motor, and the 4r70 so next will be to see what misc pieces Mike needs to get it all in the car. I will give you the details when I get an update.

yea i think you or buckman would of had a good shot at 9s with a little time. but like you said time is money and i hate when that law rule comes in effect at home nevertheless you both will have 9s right in your hand now. i'll be happy with some mid 10s. next year will be fun

I have no idea if this is helpful, but I have an 06 GT 8.8 rear end sitting on the floor in my garage. Think it has the 3.55 gears? It had about 4000 miles when it was removed for the Currie.I'll sell for$350.
