Default C&L or VMP intake + GT muffler

C&L intake + SCT X-Cal2 for $600 (link)
-or-
VMP intake + SCT X-Cal2 + GT muffler for $600 (link)
-or-
VMP intake + SCT X-Cal2 for $450 (link)

I would get 87 gas mileage, 87 performance, and 93 performance on it no matter what and probably use the gas mileage tune most of the time.

Is the GT muffler worth $150? Is the C&L intake worth $150 more than the VMP intake?

Thanks.

contact justin at vmp and ask him to justify/correct his $150 more for the gt muff. might be a mistake or just a limited time special on the tuner/intake only. email him or ask him in the vmp section of the forum. if looks are of no concern, then save money and just get the vmp intake with whatever package you choose (you're better off with the muff included). if looks are a concern, then the c&l tube is a FINE choice.

If i were you i would go with the c&l and xcal 2, and save up for a dual exaust setup, imo that might be smarter, more money , but if you ever want duals and you already bout the single thats just wasted money. Check this one out though also, the tunable induction one on the top right, i have the mmr cai and have no trouble and was impressed by there service, fast and no mess ups! http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/05AirFuel.htm

Thanks.

You can get GT takeoffs from folks here on this forum for less than $100. I paid $80.00 and that included shipping.

As far as intake, when I go that route, I'm going with Roush.
