How hard is it to take the lights and chrome accents off of the grille? And when you take it off can you tell that they were mounted there? Also are the emblems just stick on or do they leave holes?

The fender emblems use the same mounting holes as the GT emblems. If you're going to take off all the pony package components why not buy the base V6 & add the handling goodies?

BTW the holes left by the fog lights may give away the fact that they were meant to be there...you'd have to buy a base V6 or aftermarket grille.

Guys please dont flame but if i put cobra emblems on it will they cover the holes in the fenders from the pony package badges?

probably - but the current cobra emblems are purely a stick on type, no alignment pins. get one & line it up (with the backing tape still on) to see

i would but i dont have any car to compare it to, do you think the dealer could order the pony package with the emblems not installed?

take off the ponies on the side and add the cobra, it'll cover the holes. as for the grille [&:]
