I've been waiting for the Ford CAI but I just checked the DeMolet website. They're only a couple of hours from me...might be time for a road trip.

I am always pro Ford Racing, it will make a tad less power than the C&L....probably along the lines of 2rwhp...

looks? i dont give one little $%#$% about looks on a cold air intake
what if all i want is performance and good performance out of the car
any comments on K&N?
I have one on my car. It is an extremely MILD CAI. It does not require a tune and only gives a reported 7 to 8 HP. It's a nice easy install from a long standing reputable company. If your not looking for max performance it's not a bad choice.

For those asking about Tunable Inductions, it is by far one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. John is a stand up guy and the product is affordable and built well. Lots of great 1/4 times have been pulled with his product. His tunes are ok but the CAI and service make up for it. He is a site sponsor....please, at least check him out, you won't be disappointed.
Here is his link: DeMouletright now his Tuner XCAL 2 and CAI gloss black is only $499 for $2 0more they will paint it to match your car....

Demoulet is starting to look good. I was opting to get the C&L X-cal2 from Brenspeed but I like the idea of the tube being painted to match my car. I wonder which filter is cheaper or sturdier as far as getting replacements -those things dont last forever.

The filter DeMoulet uses is a Green filter, I had it on my car for 2 years the cleaning kit is about $15 and like K&N says they last for 1 million miles. It really is a good product.
