I had a teacher in high school who had taught his little son (like 2 or 3 years old) that Pontiac Sunfires were dangerous. The teacher had gotten this so ingrained into his kid's head that the kid would actually yell "Danger car!" any time he saw a Sunfire in traffic or anything.

Sounds like kind of a weird parenting technique to me, but whatever.

I have to know, what car was 'safe guy' test driving? I'll take a guess --SUV or minivan?

My friends and I jacked up the rear end of my stang to switch the back to wheels out. We did it on two different jacks and about half way through the adventure the right jack buckled under the weight and BOOM! Both jacks give and my car is now in a crater in the parking lot with no rear wheels. This process happened several times before we finally got the tires swapped. I thought for sure something ****ed up but everything was good at the garage the next day.

Point being our cars can take a beating.

My first stang and car was an '82 GL3.3L I6. I hit a telephone pole at about 55-65 mph with 2 passengers and we all walked away. As far as I'm concerned stangs have always been pretty safe

Sorry...I didn't even look. I was too busy laughing with my son about the verbal exchange and then of course I was too distracted by my shiny new pony to care what he was buying. It obviously wasn't going to be as nice as what I had! ha
