Dual Exhaust, too much smoke?
soo I have my Reverse Y pipe installed with Dual Flowmaster 40's... my Right Flow is broken in and my left flow is still being broken in because originally i had Single Flowmatser 40 and decided to upgrade it into Two.
my question is today when i was driving i noticed a lot of smoke coming from my left muffler, so i pulled in my driveway and looked at it... there was more smoke coming from my left muffler, and i even put my hand near it and felt more air with the left one... is there any explanation for this ? or am i just tripping out

Really a K. a Y plus a Y make a lovely K under your car. And yes you are probably trippin. They will vary a bit from side to side. The amount of 'smoke' this time of year could just be a different amount of moisture in each muffler, or since they are really connected in the middle since the Y+Y is not even the air could flow a little differently to one side . Either way, don't sweat it.

or the sound of true duals? Cause what you got was two tailpipes and not
much more. Kinda like chokin the chicken.

you might want to make sure that it isn't touching the valence cause it can melt the plastic if it doesn't have the clearance. I'm assuming you would notice and I wouldn't mention that, but it's on the side that just got cut and it can and does happen.

no youre not trippin, thats why you should have gone true duals. the "K" formed as mentioned above will show preference as to which pipe thegas will escape from. there will most likely be a more direct pipe for the gas to travel into and therefore the majority will go there. particles will always take the shortest distance between two points and the shortest is always the more direct. why take an extra turn when you can just go straight?
