Thanks for the replies.
Just bought it. Red. My color of choice.
Got an extended warranty (72 months total) for $1200. Covers damn near everything.
Will be looking into doing leathers soon.
Otherwise will keep it mostly stock.

Well, maybe exhaust.

Thanks for a great forum!
Think he will be back?? LOL
Unfortunately for my pocket book, I ain't going anywhere.

Thanks for the replies.
The car is fun.
I had the new-generation Mazda Miata MX-5, and that was a lot of fun to drive.
But I needed something a little bigger; having friends visiting from out of town in the past week and a half made logistics of getting around a nightmare.
Two more seats is welcome, and so is a good-looking red car with doors that slam with a thump rather than a clank.
I really do plan to keep it mostly stock...

... except for the exhaust, and maybe wheels. A slight tint would be nice. Leather upgrade later. Suspensions, too. Maybe a supercharger.

You guys are trouble.
lol, im lucky i dont have a whole lot of money right now, my car would havea new shifter, CAI/tune, HIDs, my tints would be done, and i'd be broke

Thats funny. I wasn't planning on modding my car at all, till i bought a pair of silverstar headlight bulbs. From that, it went into CAI's, exhausts, shortthrows, etc....

Remember to have fun and drive your car!!

Thanks for all your replies. The Mustang sure is fun to roam around in.

No. The car is already in my garage.
Bought it for the price they offered: $14,995
And they threw in the all-weather mats. And a can of soda while I did paper work.
Also, I purchased a 6-year extended warranty at a reduced rate - $1,200 (down from $1,500). This warranty covers everything.

What do you guys think of this extended warranty for $1,200?

The extended warranty will limit the amount of modding you can do without throwing the $1200 out the window.

Refund the warranty. You most likely won't use it.. just my opinion. Now this is a 2008 or a 2007?..

I've thought about this, too. Honestly, I don't think I'll go crazy with the mods. The extent I would modify is:
Muffler
Tint
Leather (down the road)
and maybe light suspension suspension work

The warranty covers some parts of the car that I think is important:
electronics
drive train
