Default RE: gains from removing stock muffler?

thanks for the replies guys...keeping up with the topic, i was bored today (free day and all...) and decided to take off the muffler, since it seemed an easy thing. It took me about 20 minutes maybe less to take it off and boy what a difference in sound!!! I guess if you are a sound addict (my 89 gt only has long tubes with resonators) then you wont mind the sound. The car IS loud, very loud for many people I'm sure, but until my gt take-off arrive I'll leave it like that. You can definetly feel a gain in Hp, at least in my part

is there any1 out there running their cars like this? can you give me your opinions?

P.S.: Only one disadvantage, I cant stop revving the car up to at least 4500 rpm!!! I love to hear it lol
