RE: mpg
ima take a logical guess and say that a turbocharger gets better mpg since it "recycles" energy that is already created by the engine instead of stealing energy to make more energy like a supercharger does. just a guess.

RE: mpg
I assume you have a V6 (since it's in this section) so I'd advise and I would IMAGINE the turbo chargers get better milage. As Sancho said - uses energy already created by the engine instead of stealing it away. No extra pulley = more HP as well = no extra force to overcome for the engine which = more fuel milage. The gains/differences are probably minimal though.

RE: mpg
all superchargers will bring down your MPGs, regardless of what type they are. some brands say they wont bring it down, but in the end, it is an accessory spinning off the crank, in and out of boost.
turbos do not run off the crank, they run off exhaust gasses, so technically you are making the care more efficient, so you will actually gain a bit of MPGs

RE: mpg
yes turbo = better mpg because like they said turbo is just forcing more air in plus turbos start to spool aroudn 2500 rpms so as long as u keep rpms low and is drivin properly and shifted around 2000 or 2500 rpms it will make more mpg better because car doesnt have to work as hard to move...in the other hand superchargers are constantly making ur belts spin harder and faster no matter what rpm your car is at...supperchargers are better for racing though because turbos can only do so much and spool from lets say 2500rpms till about 5000 rpms superchargers spool the whole way
