Hey Doug, you're right in the area of mileage figures you should be with your lead foot. Slow down a little and you'll see the figures go up. I have 1005 rwhp in my 07 V6 with many mods and a 4.10 rearend. I get about 29 miles per gallon with speeds around 75 mph. Take care, Jack.

That doesn't soud too bad a mpg for that crusing speed. You also have to consider how heavy your car is when comparing mpg, not just the tune. Not sure if your an auto vert but if so that would be the heaviest 4.0 in stock trim. Then add the PP, leather and the electronics and your pulling a lot of weight compared to a stock 5spd coupe w/ no or limited options. Add in any luggage or passengers your probably over 4,000 lbs. If you were doing alot of elevation changes vs. flat highway that would add another negative against your mpg. [/align]

I think one of the most important factors in mpg is acceleration. I like to punch it every once in a while, but most of the time, I accel really slowly and smoothly to put less wear on the engine, transmission, etc. and to save mileage. Everyone accelerates heavy from the red light, not just folks with cool cars like us. (soccer moms seem to be the worst)
