Default Long term: CAI + 93 B a m a Tune

Hey guys, quick question

I'm thinking of installing the 93 torque tune, and installing my JLT intake this weekend.

Long term, are there any negative effects for the engine. I've heard of some running too rich, too lean, soot deposits in mufflers, etc.

Is this a widespread problem?

My only other mod is a x-pipe w/ dual magnaflows.

Thanks

If you don't do it you'll never know! Just do it!

What other tunes do you have? The race will be a better all around tune. Torque is good for stop and go.

Bad tunes are not a real big problem. It usually happens when a car has an unusual tune/CAI combo that a tuning company did not test on. Some people may not be running at 100%, but they will never know unless they had a wideband like I just got. The new tune may be better then the stock tune, but still can have a problem FYI.

I wouldn't worry though. Seems like you have a good combo and a proven tune. Go install it and let it ripp!

yeah, you might be referring to a post a week or so ago where a member's car was running hella lean after a while. tune was from brenspeed i think but the member stated that brenspeed took care of it right away. hopefully this is a rare instance and not something that is widespread with all custom tunes. time will tell with my bamma tuned stang.
