Default RE: X-charger information?

ORIGINAL: SteelStang05

Posted this in the x-charger thread half a week ago and still no responses, maybe no one can see it, so I'll post it here:
Wondering a few things about it(I added some from my previous post):
1. What's the most amount of miles anyone has put on their car with the x-charger on it(or most you know about if you don't know)? 2. What's the highest octane anyone is using with the x-charger(what's the usual octane tune for it)?
3. Has anyone had any problems with the x-charger?
4. What's the max psi anyone has gotten out of the 2.8 pulley?
5. What's the highest anyone has dyno'd the hi-pox-charger w/2.8 pulleyat(I think it's ilduce with his 93 octane tune on a mustang dyno-298rwhp/313rwtorque at 10.7psi w/aluminum driveshaft andmrt aeroturbine)?
5. Any ideas on how much more the intercooled version will cost over the 2 models now(I'm guessing $1k or more, I believe the intercooler for the explorer 4.0 engine is $1,200)?
Thanks ahead!

I think I answered some of these in PM with you a ways back, and reffered you to a few threads. But will do so again.

1. I think 60k is the current number on the S197 4.0, but I would check the ranger forums, there are guys over there pushing past 115k if I remember correctly.

2. Some run 93 or 94 oct, but not sure why you ask? Can't really advance the timing on pump gas.

3. Only issues so far have been with user install error to my knowledge, of which posts were provided by veteran X owners with a solution well in advance.

4. PM Navbtcret or Bscotti

5. Who cares, look at Navbtcret, hes running a flat 13 and not yet intercooled. That says a lot. Dynos are tools to get the power to the pavement efficiently and safely, unless you are into bench racing. ET's and autox times tell the real deal!

6. No clue, but from the reports I read on it, in the right hands, I would say it would match, or even beat ET's of a similarly configured centri.

Still being developed. Rumor is around $2,000. I think 93 octane is being tuned by Doug. No problems with the X. I think the max psi is 10 with that pulley, more with the IC. Your #5 question sounds correct.
I believe that reported rumor is too high. Last I heard was in the $1100-$1200 ballpark.
I like your rumor much better.

Damn here we go again. Dude do you ever search other forums as well, I've seen virtually all of your questions that you have ever asked while jumping through diff. forums.

Just STFU and get a Powerhouse turbo, that's what I'm getting, more HP at lower psi, and easier on your engine.
Take it easy on him, the search function does not work very well.

Last I heard (again mainly rumor) is March/April, If that's the true intended street date, and you factor in Dave V's perfectionism, my bet would be more May/June

Navbtcret might know, hes the test mule for it and hes working closely with Doug and Dave on it. Though Paul is right, time frames right now are speculation.
