Default GT Hood

I am buying 2007 GT hood for my 2006 v6 Mustang. Will it fit? And can I install it myself? Thanks.

Same hood...why are replacing it? Unless you bought a hood with a Ford OEM GT hood scoop installed. If so, where did you get it and how much?

its the same hood... and if youre buying it for a hood scoop, just save the extra money and just buy a scoop. or better yet buy a cervinis hood... cause i guarntee its cheaper for paint adn install of a scoop instead of an entire hood. so yeah. if someone is trying to sell it to ya for a differnt look, theyre tryin to rip ya...

I got in a wreck so I needed a new hood. Its in perfect condition with a scoop for $100. It is a hell of a deal.

This guy on ebay. I have seriously been looking for months till I can find the best deal and I finally did. He is getting a carbon fiber put on and he said make him an offer or he will just give it to the body shop. So the rest is history... I called the body shop today to confirm that its in good condition and they said it looks like it just came off the showroom floor. So I guess the moral of the story is just to be patient. Not only a new hood but scoop included. Couldn't be happier.
