V6 to V8 Mods
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm 18 and Icurrently own a '99 Acura TL, but I've been looking into getting an 05 Mustang (V6). What visual differences are there between the v6 and the v8. I know there are at least a few and everyone here may have touched on this topic before, but if someone had a list of mods I would really appreciate it.
Thank you, Gregg

I say just buy the GT if you are going to go through all the effort to make it look like one. Then you will have the power to back it up as well.

RE: V6 to V8 Mods
Go with the v6 and make it your own . Don't think you'll be too disappointed... I'm 18 and yeah insurance is crazy compared to what I payed for my previous truck, a '91 ranger [8D], but in the end I think its totally worth it. The v8 will come to you in due time.... no need to rush into something like that especially if you live in an area where everyone that pulls next to you at a light thinks you want to race.....

RE: V6 to V8 Mods
Get the V6. If there were no GT and the V6 were the top of the line, it would still be a very impressive car for the hp, especially considering what else is out there in the same price range. Throw a CAI and tune on it, and you'll be perfectly happy.
One appearance tip. If you get a black or alloy Mustang, the unpainted rocker panels more closely match the color, so you won't feel like you have to spend money on matching rockers. Those black panels are an eyesore on almost every other color.
